Registration for the Cycling Light Cup race ends on Wednesday, 29. About 500 cyclists divided into 17 categories are expected for the seventh edition of the Cycling Light Cup.The test will be carried out in a 4.38-km flat circuit plotted at Botafogo Bay. The winners will be distributed prizes that total R $ 30 thousand.
The novelty of the 2014 edition is the division of the Open Female category into A (up to 39 years) and B (from 40 years).

The kilometers traveled vary by category. The longest race is the Men’s Elite with 65.7 km (15 laps); The shortest is the Women’s Open with 13.14 km (3 laps).

Starts take place between 7am and 9:23 am at Praia de Botafogo – Avenida das Nações Unidas (height of Rua Farani). Awards ceremonies will be held between 8am and 12pm.

Light is sponsoring the competition held by the FAÇA Institute, which has the support of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall. The Cycling Light Cup is homologated by the Brazilian Cycling Confederation (CBC) and Cycling Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
