An Athlete Paralympic Making Hare Gave The Surprise Winning The Barcelona Marathon

The Barcelona Marathon is one of the races preferred by runners: a city completely overturned in the marathon, a nice tour and many elite racing to take away the title. Yesterday held its 39th Edition, which did surprise: the Kenyan Jonah Kipkemoi, Paralympic athlete who made Hare, won the race with a time of 02:08:57.

Not only did a very good brand, but also This was the first time that you ran a marathon. As Hare, Kipkemoi should reach 35 km, but once there he felt well and decided to finish it, winning the test.

Kipkemoi took part in the London 2012 Paralympic Games, where he was sixth in the 800 meters and seventh in the 1500 in category T46 (physically disabled with involvement of any limb or lack thereof). The Kenyan athlete suffered burns on the face and right arm which left physical consequences when I was a child.

A very special edition of the Barcelona Marathon, where the Ethiopian athlete Helen Bekele broke the test record by 22 seconds with a time of 02:25:04.

Without doubt an Edition to remember, and that encourages us all to participate in next years. For the time being We have a date for the marathon of the coming year: It will be March 11, 2018.
